The sight shouldn’t be fixated on the isolation of a race being victimized but on the ailment that affects everyone with a willingness to acknowledge if we deter from the negligence and allow the wounds to fester caused by this unattended injury will be detrimental to humanity. As a nation, the hope is that from the kneel of solidarity we can rise towards progression taking into account the severity of this ailment and that it will require an ongoing treatment of proactive healing for as long as it’s been a thorn in the side of our nation.

The best counter attack to what’s been birthed from the womb of hatred is love. A love for oneself, one’s fellow man/woman and one’s nation with the generations succeeding us in foresight. There’s hope that if we cannot express love with words due to volatility of the ruptured emotions of this sudden replay of injustice, then maybe we can march, kneel, stand or maintain peace within the distance of each other until we can come together again as a nation healing proactively towards progression as we know we can and will.
