G-d is proven faithful in all things and against all odds (2 Tim. 2:13) and along with being faithful is He loving as well against all odds (Romans 5:8). He truly wants a relationship with mankind and has put things in order since the beginning of time to accomplish this. Many times the relationship between mankind and G-d is metaphor-ed as a husband and a wife. Throughout the bible especially in the Old Testament, G-d speaks about reconciling the husband and the wife forever. He takes the role of the husband with mankind being the wife. From the beginning you’ll see that G-d has been wanting a perfect union as He sent many prophets and leaders to direct the people’s heart back to Himself. The final response was Himself as Christ reconciling through the blood shed on Calvary. His heart has always been with mankind throughout his dealing with them (Genesis 6:6). He always intended to call them back to himself (Jer. 31:3). Since offering Christ as the final atonement to acquit all believers trusting in Him it is true to know that nothing can separate us from Him in Christ (Romans 8:37-39). If any relationship should consume most of if not all our energy working towards it should be the one with G-d through Christ. We find strength, revival and the purpose of our lives in a relationship with G-d through Christ.

May G-d, the source of hope fill you completely with joy and shalom as you continue trusting, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may overflow with hope.
