If you find yourself worn out doing the same thing or getting the same results that just drain you of hope; try to rest. The best comfort is to rest in the care of the Almighty (Matt. 11:28-30). We can become overwhelmed going out with less energy than before before at things that do not re-compensate our efforts but in Christ we are powered by the Spirit of G-d and the strength we operate on is beyond our physical ability. G-d wants to accomplish something through us that signifies His glory and presence and by His Spirit this is achieved. You may have been working towards something that seem worthless but you still have the opportunity to be used for something greater than yourself and that’s the will of G-d. You can reach your goal in Christ indeed and what G-d starts within you He will finish.
May G-d, the source of hope fill you completely with joy and shalom as you continue trusting, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may overflow with hope.
I give thanks to Adonai with all my heart, I will tell about your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you. I will sing praises to your name, G-d. Adonai! Our L-rd! How glorious is your name throughout the earth! The fame of your majesty spreads even above the heavens!
Goodness and grace will pursue me everyday of my life, and I will live in the house of Adonai for years and years to come.
